YOURGB, the Edinburgh-based experiential design and event production collective, is today unveiling its new brand, YourScene, marking 15 years in business and a deliberate evolution from a founder-led venture into a multidisciplinary creative team designing immersive experiences across the UK and internationally.
Fifteen years ago, aged 25, Bain founded the business from her grandmother’s spare room in North Berwick, after her grandmother gave her £3,000 to get started. Today, YourScene is a multi-million-pound experiential design and event production collective with a team of 17 delivering projects across the UK and internationally, remaining independently owned by founder Gilly Bain.
The new name retires the initials of founder Gilly Bain, who set up the business in 2011, and reflects what it has become – an award-winning collective of experiential designers, event producers, creatives and technical production specialists, trusted by leading global brands and discerning private clients. Its client roster spans Sony Music, Disney+, Hendrick’s, Penguin Books, TSB, Netflix, Monkey Shoulder, NBCUniversal, Helly Hansen, Johnson & Johnson, P&O Cruises and The R&A.
The “Scene” in YourScene works on two levels. It speaks to scenography and set design – the design-led craft of creating live experiences that sits at the heart of the team’s offering – and to a deeper belief that the best experiences make people stop, feel something, and take notice. As the brand’s new positioning puts it, these experiences: “Make a scene”.
The rebrand caps a period of significant growth. The business has made a series of senior appointments, including Amy Coultate, Head of Events, steering the team operations, Kimberly Barr, Head of Client Partnerships, leading business development and client growth, and Louis Matthewman, Senior Experience Designer and Luxury Events Specialist, helping drive the collective’s expansion into the luxury sector. Now recognised as one of the UK’s leading experiential design and event production companies, YourScene is headquartered in Edinburgh and supported by a team and trusted network of specialist collaborators across Glasgow, London and New York.
Looking ahead, YourScene has ambitious plans for its next chapter: growing its team across the UK and internationally, expanding further into the luxury and experiential space, and building a globally recognised experiential design collective.
The rebrand also shines a light on one of YourScene’s core values: responsibility. A Certified B Corporation™ and accredited Carbon Neutral Organisation, the collective has also developed its own Event Carbon Calculator with Carbon Footprint Ltd, helping clients understand the carbon impact of their events while supporting its journey towards Net Zero.
Founder and Director of YourScene, Gilly Bain, said: “Fifteen years felt like the right moment to evolve. What started in my Grandma’s spare room with her £3,000 gift has grown into something far bigger than me. Today, we’re a team of 17 incredibly talented creatives, producers, strategists and technical specialists, delivering immersive experiences all over the world, and our name needed to reflect that.
“YourScene captures who we are today – a collective of people who care deeply about creating experiences that bring people together, make them feel something, and leave a lasting impression. While the name is changing, the values that got us here absolutely aren’t.”
“The events industry has changed enormously over the last fifteen years, but one thing remains true: people crave connection. In a world where so much happens through screens, the most powerful brands are creating experiences that people can step into, be part of, and genuinely feel.
“We’ve built our reputation on combining creativity with exceptional delivery, and we’re incredibly excited about what comes next. We have an amazing team, ambitious plans for growth across the UK and internationally, and a clear vision for the kind of experiences we want to create. This feels less like a rebrand and more like the start of our next chapter.”
Under the YourScene name, the collective will continue designing experiences people don’t just attend, but feel – from immersive brand activations and product launches to conferences, incentive travel, luxury private celebrations and destination experiences – all delivered through its signature blend of creativity, precision and care.
YourScene officially launches 21 July 2026.
