Central Hall Westminster (CHW) is proud to announce it has achieved its best-ever trading year, with revenue surpassing pre-COVID levels by 8% and setting a new all-time record.
This achievement reflects significant ongoing investment in the venue, including the introduction of the new Susanna Wesley event space, launched in September 2025, with a further phase of development due in Q4 2026 that will deliver major investment in digital infrastructure, connectivity, cybersecurity and event technology.
Since opening in 1912, the building has welcomed a range of inspirational speakers and guests from the Late Queen Elizabeth II and Martin Luther King Jr. to Mahatma Gandhi and the inaugural United Nations General Assembly in 1946, now allowing businesses to lead the conversation where some of the greatest minds have spoken.
Over the past year over 1000 events have been hosted at the venue and with a 42% client retention rate, the dedication and collaboration of the CHW team has demonstrated the venue’s ability to deliver continued commercial success, with bigger and better events planned for the remainder of 2026 and beyond. CHW has evolved their event sales to include more venue takeovers, multi day events and more exposure to international markets, resulting in a 10.72% increase in revenue since last year.
CHW has seen a number of standout events held including the global premiere of Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ season 2, ECCN 2025, Global Progress 2025, Gala de Danza and UNGA at 80, demonstrating the venue’s ability to deliver everything from international political summits and global conferences to entertainment premieres and cultural performances.
