IHG® Hotels & Resorts (one of the world’s leading hotel groups) will launch their upscale brand voco™ Hotels in Edinburgh with the opening of voco® Edinburgh – Haymarket, managed by Axcel Hospitality Ltd.
This newly built hotel in the Scottish capital will be the seventh voco hotel in the UK, and will welcome locals as well as international visitors from the 19th of March 2021 (if government restrictions allow).
Launched in 2018, voco™ Hotels combines the reassurance of a big brand with the informality and charm of an individual hotel. The name voco™ means ‘to invite’ and ‘call together’ originating from Latin, representing the brand’s thoughtful, unstuffy and charming nature.
All voco™ Hotels promote sustainability to help guests sleep easier with thoughtful comforts like cosy bedding made from 100% recycled materials, bathroom amenities in large size dispenser bottles and aerated shower heads to reduce water usage. voco™ Hotels also remove an average of 300 plastic bottles in every guest room per year by instead using micro-filtered water in glass bottles.
voco Edinburgh – Haymarket hotel consists of 150 rooms tastefully designed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Located in the buzzing West end of Edinburgh, the hotel is within a short stroll of Edinburgh’s International Conference Centre, Haymarket Train Station and Waverly train station. At voco Edinburgh – Haymarket, guests can wake up with healthy and hearty breakfast and enjoy all-day food and drinks in the welcoming Restaurant, The Blossom.
