UK’s leading online venue resource sees 137% week on week growth
Enquiry volumes are continuing to soar at venuedirectory.com. Just 48 hours after Boris Johnson detailed the roadmap for easing coronavirus restrictions venuedirectory.com saw its biggest ever rise in enquires with a 137% week on week growth – an average growth of 87% across the two days.
The largest booking and data distribution service of venue information in the UK MICE industry received enquiries from across the venue sourcing, event production and convention bureaux markets.
Michael Begley, CEO of venuedirectory.com, explains: “Our initial findings show that 94% of the enquiries are in 2021 with the remainder in 2022 and beyond. I had expected to see a certain level of continued growth throughout the week, but the scale and pace of this increase has surprised me. I’m sure enquiry levels may fluctuate as we progress out of the pandemic restrictions, but I’m delighted that the overall trend is in the right direction.”
