Event WiFi specialist Noba’s evolution has continued following their merger with Simpli-Fi in 2019, with the recent reveal of their new brand. Now part of The Metatech Group, the union has enabled the group to increase its portfolio of services and work across multiple industry sectors.

Noba provides Internet, WiFi, Live Streaming and Custom Developed Software solutions to the live event industry and are already a recognised market leader, supporting top agencies and flagship venues across the UK. However, they are not planning to stop here and have ambitious plans for growth as Managing Director Nick Taylor explains:

“Our merger and subsequent rebrand project is the tip of the iceberg in terms of our plans to grow the business and expand on the services we can offer our clients. We have been fortunate enough to remain busy over the past 12 months, pivoting our offering to service the demands of the industry as our clients have had to find new ways to communicate and do business. Recent projects have ranged from getting essential services like criminal court proceedings up and running virtually, through to connecting vaccine centres. This has only inspired us to invest more in our R&D to ensure we stay ahead of the game, as the need for robust, secure WiFi has become an essential aspect of every event and actually, everyday life.”

Industry mogul Mike Kershaw, who was fundamental in orchestrating the union between Noba and Simpli-Fi, said:

“The merger has been a phenomenal success and the formation of The Metatech Group to support both Noba and Simpli-Fi, along with creating brands that really represent who they are today, form an integral part of the foundations that will support the future ambitions of the business. This is just the first step in their ongoing evolution.”
