Michael Ellis MP, the new minister whose portfolio covers the events industry, is set to meet members of a key events industry group.

Mr Ellis, who succeeds John Glen MP as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Arts, Heritage and Tourism at the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport will meet members of the Business Visits and Events Partnership later this month.

Discussions will focus on the opportunities for growth in Britain’s Events sector and the sector’s role as part of the Industrial Sector bid for tourism.
