After being warmly welcomed to the EVENTIT team by Judith, Shona, Hamish and of course, our four-legged CEO (Cuddly Events Officer) Maisie #eventitpup, we are excited to introduce ourselves: 

Katie Stones
Events Assistant  

Katie is a University of Edinburgh graduate, having received an Upper Second-Class MA (hons) in Psychology. Alongside her studies, she worked behind the bar at Edinburgh’s biggest and best events and produced a five-star Fringe show. She is also a keen writer, having been offered her first publishing contract at 18!  

She loves video games and upcycling old furniture, but her greatest love is live music. She has been to Glastonbury five times and looks forward to going again in 2022.

Jade Boudailler
Events Assistant  

Jade is a French-Scottish student studying at IÉSEG school of management in Lille, France. She enjoyed event planning in Singapore and has previously worked in sales. She is the Vice President of Gourmand’ease (culinary association) and a member of the communication department of the national office of business school students. 

In her spare time, she loves travelling and playing with creative software to make visuals and movies. Her all-time favourite event is the Fringe, but she also loves exhibitions and balls.

Elena Punshon
Digital Marketing Assistant  

Elena is an Edinburgh Napier University graduate, having received a First-Class BSc (hons) in Digital Media and Interaction Design Global. She is interested in exploring different technologies to find creative ways to tell stories and communicate ideas. She also volunteers with Generation Climate Europe (NGO).  

She loves photography, cooking, and self-studying Spanish. Her favourite events include film festivals, concerts, and TED Talks.

Ellie Jackson
Digital Marketing Assistant  

Ellie is a University of Edinburgh graduate, having received an MSc in Creative Writing (with distinction), she has also received a BA in English from the University of Cambridge. She has worked across the hospitality and bookselling industries and currently volunteers with Nourishing Change (CIC) as a Coordinator and Social Media Assistant.  

In her spare time, she loves writing, reading, and sewing extravagant costumes. Her favourite events include book festivals, art exhibitions and gigs.
