Secretaries and personal assistants (PAs) turned out last week for Edinburgh’s foremost networking event for office support staff.
Held at the Kimpton Charlotte Square, PAX in the City returned to the capital for the well-known industry event for PAs, secretaries and bookers, which brought together over 45 exhibitors and 300 visitors.
EventIt was among the exhibitors at this year’s event and announced it will host a VIP reception for PAs at EventIt 2020 at around 4pm on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Judith Wilson, EventIt Director, who also organised the event in conjunction with the PA Exchange, said: “PAs who run events are so often overlooked in the events world and it’s great to be able to help connect them to the suppliers of event services, especially as they often struggle to get enough time away from the office.
“So, I’m delighted to be able to say that we will organise a special session for them at EventIt 2020 around the theme of how to deliver a stress-free event, which I’m sure will be a most welcome topic given how busy they always are.”
The day culminated with canapés and sparkling from BABA restaurant and bar at the Kimpton Charlotte Square hotel, which has undergone an extensive refurbishment and relaunch.
Judith added: “The hospitality was absolutely fabulous and it was the perfect venue for the event. Special thanks go to Kieran Smith, Antony Carter and the team who made it such an event to remember. If anyone is still pondering their Christmas party options, they should definitely talk to the hotel.”
The winner of the prize draw, who will receive a special EventIt hamper pack, was Jacqueline Reid from Scottish Widows.
