Rizzle Kicks Join the Party as Festival Reveals Fresh Wave of Artists and Confirms 2026 Theme ‘Party Animals’
Belladrum Festival has today revealed a new set of artists who will be joining its 22nd edition this summer, with duo Rizzle Kicks leading the charge of an incredible new-wave of freshly announced artists. Plus, Belladrum unveils that this year it’s going wild and diving into festival-frenzy with its 2026 theme: ‘Party Animals’.
RIZZLE KICKS – made up of Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, are stepping in following the news that Ella Henderson is no longer able to appear at this year’s event, due to unforeseen circumstances. Known for high energy and feel-good anthems, Rizzle Kicks promise to bring a huge summer party atmosphere to the Highland fields, a fitting addition and in good keeping with the recently announced Party Animals theme.
Joining them on the bill is the captivating English Singer-Songwriter ROSE BETTS, who’s name might be familiar as she’s amassed a following of almost half a million on TikTok after she went viral with ‘Driving Myself Home’ in 2022 followed by ‘Irish Eyes’ in 2023.
JANET DEVLIN also joins the festival. From her breakout on national television (The X Factor, 2011), to carving out her own distinctive country-infused sound, Janet’s journey has been anything but ordinary and her performance is set to be a real treat, particularly for country music fans.
Festival organisers say to prepare for fast-paced folk-punk mayhem from SHANGHAI TREASON, while Scotland’s rising stars SCRATCHCARD WEDNESDAY are tipped as one of the breakthrough acts of the year, a Scottish pop due consisting of vocalist Tyrese Ojo and multi-instrumentalist Dexter Brady. With both boys being born and raised in Glasgow, this is a main source of inspiration within their music.
Completing this latest announcement is Scottish singer songwriter BECKY SIKASA. Becky produces sound which blends neo-soul and alternative R&B into rich, introspective soundscapes. In 2025 she was announced as BBC Introducing’s Scottish Artist Of The Year, so another one to watch.
This announcement follows last week’s reveal of Belladrum’s much-loved late-night line up featuring Oasis tribute act Definitely Oasis, David Bowie tribute Spiders on Mars, festival favourite MacFloyd (Pink Floyd tribute), and Massaoke, who will host the biggest Highland karaoke party yet, on the mainstage.
Adding to the excitement ahead of this year’s event, Belladrum has also unveiled its hotly anticipated 2026 theme: Wildlife – Party Animals. Each year the theme shapes the onsite experience, inspiring immersive décor, art installations and playful programming touches woven throughout the festival’s 14 stages and across the site.
“Launching the theme each year is always a huge moment for us, in many ways it’s just as anticipated as the line-up announcement. That’s what makes Belladrum so unique. It’s not just about the music; it’s a fully immersive, escapist experience where the yearly theme helps shape the atmosphere of the weekend. For 2026, we’re thrilled to unveil ‘Wildlife: Party Animals’. We already know our festival-goers will embrace it in spectacular fashion. Saturday is always our dedicated fancy dress day, and we can’t wait to see the incredible effort and imagination everyone brings to the fields.” DOUGIE BROWN – FESTIVAL PRODUCER
The 22nd edition builds on an extraordinary 2025 and sees momentum continuing at pace, with tickets selling rapidly. Belladrum remains one of the UK’s most distinctive family-friendly festivals, offering over 100 free family activities alongside hundreds of artists across 14 stages and an escapism and variety most closely comparable to that of Glastonbury.
Previously announced acts for 2026 include CALLUM BEATTIE, THE HUMAN LEAGUE, JAMES, MIKA, SIGALA, SCOUTING FOR GIRLS, RAZORLIGHT, KULA SHAKER, SYMPHONIC IBIZA, SKERRYVORE, BROOKE COMBE, LLOYD COLE, NATHAN CARTER and many more across the diverse lineup.
