The Business of Events (TBOE) has announced it is to return in 2018 with a much-expanded program of activity with VisitBritain again supporting the series of events.
This year will see the anchor TBOE Senior Leadership Forum return to the QEII Centre in London on Friday 26th October and be preceded by a Parliamentary Debate on Thursday 25th October in Portcullis House, Westminster, hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group for the Events Industry.
PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) will again bring one of its highly successful Knowledge Exchanges to London as part of the wider program, and the evening of the 25th will see the annual Parliamentary Dinner taking place in Westminster and attended by senior government officials and Members of Parliament.
New for this year will see two regional events taking place in both Wales and Scotland. TBOE Wales will be held on Friday 5th October at The Celtic Manor Resort, where it will also host a meeting of the UK Events Industry Board and a private dinner hosted by the Welsh Government. Scotland will also host its own TBOE event during November.

TBOE is a program of invitation only cross sector events, aimed at senior professionals from across the UK events industry, designed to engage, support and promote the UK’s events sector and is supported by both the Business Visits & Events Partnership and VisitBritain. Partners for this year also include ibtm, Cvent, VisitScotland, drp and the QEII Centre.
