Laura Wilson joins the VisitAberdeenshire leadership team as Head of Convention Bureau, from Edinburgh-based Speakeasy Productions.
Aberdeen Convention Bureau, an arm of VisitAberdeenshire, works in collaboration with venue partners, universities, and academics to bid for business events, and provides in-destination support to conference organisers and delegates.
In the past twelve months, Aberdeen Convention Bureau has worked with partners to submit 38 bids, and if successful, will bring £19million to the regional economy and over 79,000 bed nights.
Laura Wilson, Head of Convention Bureau, said: “I’m pleased to be joining the VisitAberdeenshire team and look forward to promoting the region as a prime conference destination.”
