A trade show for plumbers has proved so successful in England that its Scottish editiond launches today at the SEC in Glasgow.
Installer – an expo for the heating and plumbing industry – is tooling up for its first venture into Scotland after running the UK show for the last three years at the RICOH Arena in Coventry.
Organisers say they spotted a demand to take the format north of the Border, and hope to engage the Scottish industry over the next two days, with InstallerSCOTLAND.
Show Manager Paul Clark said: “We’ve had three great years so far at the RICOH Arena in Coventry, and we are really looking forward to Installer2018 in the same venue next year. It was time to bring the show to the Scottish market.
“Glasgow is a fantastic location to launch a show as it’s very central for a significant proportion of the Scottish population and the SEC has all the facilities and capabilities required to run your show here for the first time. We’ve received a lot of support from the team at the venue to get the event off the ground and look forward to coming back in the future.”
Angela Smith, Business Development Manager at the SEC, added: “Glasgow is a fantastic place to launch a trade show because the local audience is just so diverse. You’ll find interest in every kind of show here and it’s something we take great pride in.
“InstallerSCOTLAND is a strong example of a show responding to market demand and launching in a new location and the SEC is ready made to welcome shows of this nature.”
InstallerSCOTLAND brings the Installer2017 experience to a new audience, where Scotland-based installers can get hands-on experience with products and exposure to a number of specifically designed features that add real benefit to plumbing and heating experts.
Installer launched its first trade show in 2015 and has grown year on year, providing a platform for industry professionals to benefit from face-to-face time with manufacturers, merchants and suppliers from across the industry.
