EXPERIENCEit – the UK’s most immersive and dynamic events showcase – has announced its day one venue and an exciting speaker line-up for its first ever event in Manchester.
Taking place on 22 and 23 July 2025, this two-day experience blends bold ideas, interactivity and creative collaboration and now, even more event professionals, brands and agencies have a reason to be there.
Whitworth Locke will host day one, an inspiring city-centre venue chosen to reflect the spirit of innovation and connection at the heart of the event. This half-day workshop will offer attendees a deep dive into what truly connects with Gen Z – the next generation of event attendees – and what doesn’t.
Facilitated by Robert Dunsmore, Independent Creative Director, the workshop will feature a live panel of outspoken Gen Z voices from across sectors including medical associations and corporate organisations. Together, they’ll unpack what makes an event worth their time, what turns them off instantly and how their values are transforming the events landscape.
But this isn’t just another panel session. Attendees will be invited to roll up their sleeves for interactive roundtables, reimagining traditional event formats through a Gen Z lens. From conferences and networking to training sessions, you’ll co-create formats that are more engaging, inclusive and future-focused.
On day two, the action shifts to Diecast, which will include live demos, experiential showcases, wellness activations and TED-style talks. This year’s speaker line-up includes:
- Chloe Richardson – With over 15 years of experience, Chloe is a multilingual event and marketing champion, recognised by Eventex, Glisser and JLLive. She’s a global voice in the industry and a fierce advocate for innovation in event delivery.
- Alexa Martinez – From luxury hospitality in Rome to digital event leadership in the UK, Alexa brings a powerful perspective on sustainability, mentorship and hybrid event evolution. As host of Events Obsessed, she challenges the status quo and explores what’s next for events.
- Catherine Warrilow – Founder of The Plot, Catherine helps venues and event brands make meaningful connections through branding that cuts through. Known for her wordsmithing and strategic clarity, she’s bringing her insight to the EXPERIENCEit stage.
Judith Wilson, Events Director at EVENTIT, said: “We’re thrilled to reveal more of what’s in store for EXPERIENCEit Manchester. With a powerful mix of speakers, hands-on sessions and meaningful conversations, this is more than an event – it’s a rethink of how our industry connects, creates and grows. From Gen Z insights to future-ready formats, we’re ready to challenge and inspire.”
Theresa Steven, Business Development Manager – UK, Business Events at VisitScotland, said: “We’re excited to be joining EXPERIENCEit in Manchester for the first time to showcase Scotland’s world-class events offering in the dedicated Scotland Zone. Exhibiting alongside a strong group of our Scottish partners, this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the creativity, innovation, and warm hospitality that sets Scotland apart as a business events destination.
