The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) has agreed a partnership with Eventbrite, who will become the organisation’s latest ‘Futures Supporter’.
The Futures programme was launched last year to better prepare the industry for the long term, and to evolve NOEA to support the industry’s growth and development.
Eventbrite join GL events UK Group and ACT Group in the programme, and will use the partnership to support NOEA’s Commercialisation Project, as well as to pass on its extensive knowledge around ticketing, paperless access control, cashless payments and event marketing. Eventbrite already works alongside NOEA as ticketing partner for the association’s events, and will look to elevate this support to showcase the brand’s extensive products and services.
“We share the same values as NOEA; they want to grow the industry, create better business performance and a more stable industry, and so do we,” said Marino Fresch, Marketing Director, Eventbrite UK & Ireland.
“This is an important partnership for our business and we’re keen to help. Focused on what opportunities lie ahead and how to leverage them, we’ll share our knowledge and best practices in many areas of the event lifecycle; including event marketing and ticket sales, access control, and data analysis – all of which play an important part in growing robust, commercial events businesses across the UK.”
“We’re delighted to have Eventbrite as part of our Futures Supporter programme,” said Andy Grove, Interim-President, NOEA. “Like both GL events UK and ACT Group, they share a passion for the industry’s growth and can bring a huge amount to our objective to prepare the industry for its future. We’re particularly excited about their experience both as a digital business, but also in setting high standards in event marketing.”
Eventbrite will be supporting NOEA at a series of events and activations throughout the next twelve months, including the association’s showpiece Annual Convention and Awards on 22 November 17, Pump Rooms & Roman Baths, Bath.
