The Globe Inn (Burns’ Favourite Howff)
Established in 1610, The Globe Inn’s rich history will send a shiver down your spine. Tour the rooms preserved as they would have been during the patronage of world-famous poet Robert Burns who ate, slept and held court at The Globe Inn in his remit as local Exciseman. Many original artifacts still remain and you can even sit in his chair and recite poetry where the bard once did himself.
The Globe has several private and general dining facilities. Parties can dine around Burns’ very own dining table and enjoy a 7-course extravaganza, alternatively, parties of up to 30 can enjoy the stunning surroundings of the old hayloft, and groups of up to 60 can enjoy our set, tasting or A la carte menus in the coombed eaves of the old stables.
Our Michelin experienced chefs prepare fresh local produce and which you can enjoy with a wide range of beers, fine wines, and cocktails, or choose a dram from our whisky list boasting over 250 bottles of Malts and blends from all over the world.
We also cater for day delegate meetings, weddings and bespoke parties, which can also be linked in with our Single Malt Whisky Distillery just 20 min up the road. Your guests will enjoy perfection with humour and leave with a truly memorable experience.
