Job Summary

Based out of our head office in East Kilbride, the Junior Technology Assistant will support our Event Pal and Social Jungle brands, working with some of the largest charities and corporate clients throughout the UK.

Event PAL is our fundraising and event management platform which to date has assisted Scottish charities raise over £2.5m since its inception. Whilst Social Jungle specializes in creating engaging experiential activations for a variety of clients which include British Airways, Brewdog and the Scottish Football Association.

Using our software provisions, the Junior Technology Assistant will support clients by enhancing their events and fundraising activities.

What will I be doing?
A super exciting opportunity, you will support the head of business development at Social Jungle to create and deliver client proposals as well as design and build client fundraising and ticketing platforms through Event Pal.

• Engaging and developing client relationships across broad industry sectors.

• Building and creating client fundraising and ticketing platforms and supporting these clients onsite at their event.

• Supporting our head of technology with the development and operations of new tech and software concepts whilst learning and developing your knowledge with our existing software’s and platforms.

• Utilising our technology offerings such as our innovative green screen and robotic technologies to create engaging experiential events for our clients.

• Working alongside our head of business development to create engaging client proposals in line with their briefs.

• Delivering these proposals onsite at our client’s events.

• Researching and developing new technology concepts that can be offered to our core client base.

• Travelling on site to a number of venues across the country and working in a customer facing environment.

• Represent the company positively where nothing is impossible for our clients.

What we need from you

• Enthusiasm – you should exhibit a MAH-HOOOOOOSIVE amount of passion and excitement for your work along with bucketloads of “can-do”. The BPEG team are shiny happy, positive people and you should be too!

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Must haves
• Full UK driving license.
• 1 years’ experience within the events/fundraising/production industry.
• A love of technology and learning of new systems to enhance and improve event experiences.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects.
• Strong Planning and project / programme skills.
• Experience of working with the public.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills.
• Are analytical.
• Responsible for the management of the assigned programme(s) & project(s) in line with our Social Jungle and Event PAL brands.
• Responsible for the delivery of new technological offerings to our clients.
• A basic understanding and enthusiasm for technology.
• Professional, warm and friendly manner

Nice to haves
• A keen interest in photography or videography.
• Knowledge or experience in the voluntary sector or experience within fundraising (desired but not essential).
• Ambition to grow within a senior position in the company.
• Knowledge and understanding of Squarespace/ Monday/Current RMS software’s.
• Knowledge of design –
• Experience of using Photoshop
• Knowledge of Premier Pro
