We are offering a wonderful opportunity for a driven and focused individual to join the very successful, dynamic and engaging Quarriers fundraising team as Community & Events Fundraiser, (35 hours per week).

You will be part of the wider Funding & Marketing department which encompasses: Fundraising; Individual Giving, Business Development, Grants and Marketing. The post would be suited to someone who is ambitious, has the ability to develop and build strong and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and has the ability and confidence to develop relationships in the fundraising sector, with a flair for organising and delivering successful events.

This position would ideally suit someone who is currently working in a Fundraising or special events focused role, and have experience in relationship management, with good knowledge and experience of the principles of Community Fundraising and a background in managing volunteers and events as a part of that role.

You should have excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to influence and persuade and to write compelling proposals to showcase the impact the fundraised income can achieve for the organisation. You should have great presentation and public speaking skills and experience of working with people at all levels within organisations.

The role:

  • Inspiring, developing and managing supporters to achieve their goals through offering outstanding and tailored stewardship.
  • Develop existing fundraising events throughout the year
  • Develop pipeline of new supporters to Quarriers through engaging events and activities as well as third party event engagement
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to support our event portfolio
  • Support Quarriers teams with their various and successful fundraising activities

The successful candidate must have a full current drivers licence and access to own transport.
