An representative body for in-house corporate events specialists (ICE) has signed with a leading events PR firm as it bids to broaden its communications with the industry.
ICE , ‘the’ community of corporate meeting and event planners, has today unveiled the group’s decision to partner with EIGHT PR & Marketing (EIGHT).
The announcement comes as a prelude to the organisation’s ambitious new strategy, that will see the group move into a more hands-on approach to tackle the typecast connotations currently associated with in-house corporate event planners, and proving the enormity of value they contribute to business.
EIGHT will support ICE in sharing the ‘voice of the in-house corporate planner’ within the meetings and events industry, and encouraging more conversations at stakeholder and influencer level.
Following a sizable three-year growth since their establishment in 2016, and with continued recognition from clients, ICE has built a reputation for its work within the corporate industry. The group has not only built a creditable hub for corporate event professionals by providing networking and educational opportunities, they also champion the unsung heroes of in-house event teams by offering both support (ICE Online) and the recognition (ICE Awards) they deserve.
“Over the course of this amazing journey, we’ve worked with some really brilliant people with great ideas and so, in true ICE fashion, we wanted our communication to follow the same standard,” said Anita Howard – Founder/Director of ICE Group. “We are really excited to share our new partnership with EIGHT. They are a fantastic company who not only reflect the drive, performance and focus that aligns with our strategy, but are an organisation that really captures the essence of who ICE is. EIGHT is undoubtedly one of the most exciting PR agencies in the events industry right now, and we believe they can really help elevate ICE’s mission, this is exciting for us.”
“ICE have built a really strong community of corporate event professionals, and they’ve taken the lead in listening to them, talking to them and for them, and also rewarding them at the brilliant ICE Awards. What they have accomplished within the corporate industry is really inspiring and something we’re really proud to be a part of,” said Alistair Turner, Managing Director of EIGHT PR & Marketing.
“We have been long term supporters of the work Anita and the team at ICE have been doing, and are excited to be driving these conversations with them. This partnership presents a fantastic opportunity not only for us to get closer to the corporate market, but our clients too. A valuable extension to our own ‘club’ strategy.”
