EVENTIT is to host its most innovative event yet, EXPERIENCEit 2025, which will break away from traditional tradeshow formats to deliver a transformational, immersive experience for creative and event professionals.

The event will take place on 4–5 February 2025 in Edinburgh, running over two days for the first time.

This year’s event will adopt a groundbreaking format, replacing the usual tradeshow model to foster engagement and collaboration within the creative, experiential events industry and beyond.

Judith Wilson, Events Director at EVENTIT, said:We can’t wait to welcome delegates from across the UK to EXPERIENCEit 2025, our completely reimagined trade show experience. Instead of long aisles of booths and education sessions tucked into the corner of the hall, we’re creating an immersive, interactive live experience aimed at fostering creativity and meaningful engagements.

Hosted across two days in some of Edinburgh’s most fabulous venues The Caves and Brewhemia our audience will connect in a relaxed environment during a wide variety of activities. It’s not just about showcasing products; it’s about collaboration, community and inspiring the future of the industry.”

Day one will take place at The Caves, focusing on industry leadership and vision through panel discussions and collaborative workshops. Day two at Brewhemia will deliver a vibrant mix of experiential activations, wellness sessions, and informal networking opportunities.

EXPERIENCEit 2025 will showcase a range of activities designed to inspire and engage attendees. On day one, a task-led workshop moderated by Kim Myhre, managing partner of Experience Designed, will explore key themes such as technology, inclusivity, and sustainability, culminating in the exclusive report Event Industry Leaders Imagine the Future.

On the second day, attendees will also benefit from five TED-style keynote talks led by thought leaders in brand experiences, immersive activations, and entertainment, providing innovative insights. Wellness is a key focus, with sessions by expert Sarah Hunt, a quiet zone for relaxation, and Disco Yoga.

Networking will take on a fresh approach with app-based challenges offering prizes and incentives, and the event will conclude with live entertainment from Song Division, combining music with meaningful connections.

Throughout the two-day event, participants can connect with exhibitors during an interactive supplier showcase featuring independent Scottish suppliers, have one to one meetings with major hotel brands, AV companies, and event tech providers and even enjoy concise five-minute pitches to buyer groups.

EXPERIENCEit is now in its second year after replacing the EVENTIT annual showcase in 2024.
