EventScotland is supporting a London-based conference and publishing company to deliver its annual ‘Host City’ conference for the international major events industry in Glasgow.
The national events agency is partner to the Host City 2019 Conference – organised by Cavendish Group – at Strathclyde University Technology & Innovation Centre on 26 & 27 November.
The sixth Host City Conference will welcome over 250 representatives, including more than 50 influential speakers from cities, destination marketing organisations, cross-sector rightsholders, organising committees and suppliers for two full days of plenary presentations, panels, VIP dialogues and workshops on how to attract, bid for and host engaging major events with positive long-term legacies.

Remaining delegate places can be accessed via the conference Registration page, this also includes an option to register for a free Exhibition Pass that grants access to the exhibitor area only.
Finally, EventScotland is pleased to have a limited number of free half-day delegate places available for the Wednesday afternoon, this includes the networking lunch, viewing of exhibitor stands and attendance at the afternoon programme of presentations. These places are available on a “first come” basis and must be requested via mark.hennys@visitscotland.com.
