EventScotland is working with Aberdeen City Council to deliver a free half-day workshop for local event/festival organisers in Aberdeen.

The workshop will provide attendees with a series of relevant industry updates from national and local bodies, including: EventScotland, VisitScotland, Aberdeen City Council, and Police Scotland.

The workshop at Marischal College is also intended to provide a forum for event organisers to discuss their own event experience and share good practice, plus provide feedback on current challenges and opportunities in the local area including the updated guidance and processes recently introduced by the Council for local event/festival organisers.

Finally, the workshop will provide an important opportunity prior to the busy summer period for Aberdeen City Council’s Events Team to gather feedback on the updated guidance and processes recently introduced by the Council for local event/festival organisers.
