A massive education programme has been unveiled this year at EventIt – Scotland’s annual events industry show.

The programme will boast up to 40 interactive workshops divided into six streams – on subjects as diverse as festivalisation, incentives, event tech, healthcare and association events.

Top speakers from across the UK and overseas will give a series of talks, lectures and participate in panel debates for the programme, which runs in parallel to the main exhibition on the 19th of March at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

They include the likes of Caroline Mackenzie, Head of Operations, Global Association Partners, Andrew Burnet, Managing Director, Andrew Burnet & Co, Natasha Richards, Senior Advocacy & Industry Relations Manager, IMEX Group, Alistair Turner, EIGHT PR & Marketing, William Thomson, CEO, Gallus and Lesley Williams, Director, BestCities Global Alliance.

Judith Wilson, EventIt Director, said: “We are delighted to announce that the draft education programme is now available to view and delegates are able to look forward to what will be a rich offer of stimulating events related content, relevant to senior leadership teams and those starting out in the industry.

“With just over six weeks to go, I would however urge all events professionals attending this year to register now, and we will be in touch very soon with details of how you can choose your sessions as they go live!”

“It is very exciting to be returning to the EICC, where we hosted our first show in 2016, and we are look forward once again to be working with the team there. We can’t wait to see everyone on the day.”
