Event Sustainability Live (ESL) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Association of Event Venues (AEV) aimed at promoting and supporting sustainability within the events sector. This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering environmentally responsible practices among event professionals and venues.
As part of this exciting partnership, the AEV will host a dedicated pavilion on the ESL show floor. This pavilion will serve as a central hub for AEV members, offering them a unique platform to showcase their commitment to sustainable event solutions. AEV invites all its members to participate as exhibitors, providing an unparalleled opportunity to connect with industry peers and share innovations in sustainable event management.
The AEV Pavilion is set to showcase the best event spaces from around the UK, so far including notable venues like The Kia Oval, Harrogate Convention Centre, Manchester Central, Farnborough International and Olympia Events.
Adam Parry, Co-Founder of Event Sustainability Live, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration:
“We are incredibly excited to partner with the AEV, an organisation that shares our passion for
sustainability in the events industry. This partnership underscores the importance of collective action and collaboration in driving meaningful change. The dedicated AEV pavilion will not only highlight the best practices and initiatives of its members but also inspire the entire events community to embrace more sustainable practices.”
Alden Arnold, Head of Commercial and Projects at the AEV, also commented on the partnership:
“The AEV is pleased to support and collaborate with Event Sustainability Live. We are proud to offer our members a dedicated space to exhibit their sustainability goals, innovations and achievements. As our members continue to work together on sustainability commitments and practices, being part of the AEV pavilion will give them the opportunity to showcase how their venues are leading the way in creating a more sustainable future for the events industry.”
This partnership aligns with both organisations’ commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices and offers a significant platform for dialogue, learning and innovation. Event Sustainability Live will take place on 20th & 21st November at ExCeL, London bringing together industry leaders, innovators and experts to discuss and develop sustainable solutions.
