Dynamic Earth’s interior dome is to be used as the backdrop for a 360° presentation space for keynote speakers at this year’s What’s Trending in Events.
The circular space at the iconic Edinburgh venue will be utilised for a striking and engaging talk by renowned events industry speakers next Thursday, December 12.
Never before used for a conference talk – as it’s more commonly reserved for planetarium educational events – the unique space is being deployed for next week’s annual Scottish events industry gathering, which will spotlight all the innovative solutions coming to the events market for 2020.
Judith Wilson, What’s Trending in Events Director, said: “Once again we are delighted to be partnering with Dynamic Earth for what is going to be a packed programme of thought leadership talks, debate and demonstrations for all the cutting-edge events industry products and services that are likely to make a difference in 2020.
“This is the last opportunity for events planners, organisers and PAs who don’t normally get the chance to leave the office – but who are so vital to booking events for their organisations – to come along and meet the suppliers who will hopefully be able to make their jobs that much easier for them.”
This year’s event features keynotes from Kim Myhre, Managing Director of MCI Experience, Alistair Turner, Managing Director, EIGHT PR & Marketing and author of the IBTM World Trends and Robert Dunsmore, independent Creative Director, Live Events past ILEA Board Member and event industry influencer, who will discuss what the Virtual Experience Economy is, why it is set to dominate the events industry for the next decade and how it will look.
In addition to the global influencers and industry experts, contributors from the world of tech, comms, theming and well-being will be on hand to engage with delegates in a ‘fully interactive experience’.
