Having started her career in corporate events, Ashley moved into the third sector by chance with a 6 month sabbatical cover with Breast Cancer Care, where she was responsible for delivering their flagship Fashion Show event. Discovering a passion for fundraising, she then spent the next 10 years at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice where she was part of the team who raised £21 million to build a new hospice for the people of Glasgow. For the past year she has been working with Capability Scotland, responsible for developing a new fundraising strategy. She is delighted to have recently been appointed Head of Fundraising Scotland for Marie Curie. Ashley is looking forward to the future and bringing her skills to this exceptional charity.
