VisitScotland Expo is to return to the Scottish Event Campus in 2019 for its 40th anniversary – the third consecutive year at the venue.

The two-day event provides a platform for companies with Scottish tourism products to showcase their wares to prospective and regular buyers. Open to all exhibitors from all sectors and leisure buyers from all corners of the globe, VisitScotland Expo attracts thousands of visitors every year.

David Martin, VisitScotland Expo’s Show Manager, commented, “A huge part of the success of a show is the venue, and we are delighted to be returning to the SEC next year. The Scottish tourism industry is worth over £11 billion and so it’s vitally important that companies involved in that are supported where possible.

“VisitScotland Expo is a fantastic opportunity for all kinds of companies to network and meet their buyers, something which they might not always get to do. Supporting Scottish tourism and the businesses involved with it is crucial to the maintenance of the country’s tourism economy.”

“We are delighted to be welcoming VisitScotland Expo back to the venue for the third consecutive year, especially since it’s the show’s 40th anniversary,” said the SEC’s Head of Exhibition Sales, Breda Cruickshank.

“It’s great to see national shows like this flourishing at the SEC and we hope that all the exhibitors make the most of this great platform next year.”
