The sporting events partner and caterer for Aberdeen FC’s Pittodrie stadium has announced a 50% increase in bookings.
Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events has projected a 37% growth in annual income thanks to a ‘substantial increase’ in event bookings.
The rise is expected to continue into the final quarter of the year, with local sports organisations and community groups including Scottish Referees Association, Northstar Community FC and Huntly Football Club all opting to host their event at the stadium.
Proving a fan favourite for Huntly FC, 2018 will mark the fifth consecutive year they’ve chosen to host their annual lunch at Pittodrie, with an anticipated 250 guests set to attend.
The perfect setting for corporate and private events, a number of Pittodrie’s nine event spaces offer unrivalled views of the pitch. Dressed to impress, each space offers an integrated audio-visual system and top-class hospitality from the Sodexo team.
On arrival, delegates will be greeted with a glass of fizz, before being transported to one of the suites where they will be treated to a three-course meal.
Sodexo chefs carefully curate tailored menus for each event using the best local produce. Creating classic dishes guests love, previous menus have included a hearty Scottish steak pie and an indulgent chocolate fudge cake with fresh cream. Unique menus can be designed and tailored for every occasion, providing the ideal accompaniment to any event.
Kenny Garden, General Manager with Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events at Pittodrie Stadium said: “Sodexo has been the official events partner at Pittodrie Stadium for over 20 years and we are committed to providing visitors with a memorable experience.
“We are thrilled by the increase in popularity of our sporting event packages, which offer a premier experience guaranteed to be a hit with any club or organisation.
