Sales & Events Coordinator – The Glasshouse Hotel

The 77-bedroom property is full of unique elements, including The Snug boasting a whisky collection of over 160 single malts and blends and our stunning rooftop garden.  The Glasshouse is Scotland’s only hotel part of the prestigious Autograph Collection.

The Role of a Sales & Events Coordinator

As the Sales & Events Coordinator you will take on full day-to-day responsibility for the utilisation of the hotel’s meeting spaces and represents a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their skills at a luxury product.

You will get involved with:

  • Managing client enquiries ensuring relevant information is communicated efficiently
  • Organise the events booking system
  • Develop a close working relationship with regular clients and work on expanding this client base
  • Pro-actively prospect new business through sales calls, site inspections, networking and attending trade shows
  • Ensure all equipment for events is ordered and arrives in advance and invoices are process appropriately
  • Keep up to date with current market trends and share this knowledge with the team
  • Assist in creating offers and promotions where appropriate
  • Liaise with all departments across the hotel to ensure its smooth running

To be successful in this role you will be a confident highly motivated individual who is committed to achieve results. You will be extremely organised and can manage and prioritise a busy workload and tasks to deadlines and enjoy being part of a team.
