Once again, the opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with old acquaintances will sit at the heart of The Meetings Show with thousands of industry professionals gathering in London for what will be the show’s fifth edition. Spread across the whole week, the networking programme includes a host of exciting show, partner and exhibitor events.

Kicking the week off on Monday 12th June is the annual Hosted Buyer Welcome Reception taking place at the iconic De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. The evening will give attendees a chance to make connections, discuss plans for The Meetings Show or simply catch up with colleagues from around the world!

There is no need to plan anything for Tuesday night either as MPI’s UK and Ireland Chapter once again delivers an opportunity to unwind and do some good at the same time. The Post-Show Charity Party will take place at the Hand & Flower Pub on Tuesday 13 June from 6pm, allowing delegates to finish their final meeting at the show and cross over the road to unwind and network over a few drinks!

All funds raised from the party will directly benefit the UK’s meetings industry via The Event Apprenticeships Support Scheme through the new Government-backed Trailblazer programme. Tickets, which include all food and drink, are £50 and available via http://www.mpiweb.org/Events/post-show/charity-party

Other events throughout the show include:

  • A true taste of Argentina on 13 June at Gaucho, Piccadilly, London (invite-only)
  • Champagne Hour on 14 June on Atout France’s stand (B505) at 3pm
  • Hygge reception on 14th June on Denmark’s stand (B500) from 4-5pm
  • 80s Agency Event on 14th June at Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington – 6:30pm
