Edinburgh-based 20/20 Productions, the creative communications, event and digital production agency, has welcomed a new recruit to its team.

Graduate Claire McGinniss (22) joins the award-winning agency as Production Assistant, her first full-time role since studying at the University of St Andrews.

Claire was first introduced to 20/20 Productions as part of a placement scheme, where she shadowed Managing Director Alastair Scott, experienced pre-production activity for several projects, and gained an understanding of creative and logistical planning.

Previously Claire worked as part of several event teams, including the arts festival which ran alongside the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, a student-run arts festival ‘On the Rocks’ and the 2017 BBC Edinburgh Festivals.

Her role within the company sees her supporting the senior production team in producing live events and video communications with long-term clients such as Standard Life Aberdeen, Heineken and CIPD.

Speaking about her new role Claire said: “I’m really excited to be part of the 20/20 Productions team and I’m most looking forward to the learning experience of what being part of an award-winning company brings. My role will allow me to develop a wider knowledge and skills base and contribute successfully to the exciting projects coming up.”

Alastair Scott, 20/20 Productions MD, added: “We have held Investors in Young People accreditation since 2016 and are dedicated to supporting a young workforce in our ever-changing industry. Claire came to us as part of a placement scheme we run with many Universities around Scotland. We were particularly impressed with her enthusiasm and passion and are sure she will prove a great asset to the 20/20 Productions team.”
