Five-star resort Cameron House has created a guest relations manager role as the luxury hotel announced the appointment of four new members of staff.

Louise Brodie steps into the newly-created role after having worked in a similar capacity in Dubai and as an award-winning receptionist at the Burj Al Arab hotel, often described as the ‘most luxurious hotel in the world’.

In a role that’s new to the hotel, Brodie will play a key part in identifying and implementing enhancements that will ‘improve the guest experience’, said the Loch Lomond venue.

Brodie said: “I was particularly attracted to Cameron House because of its fantastic reputation within the industry, and to the role itself because as with any new role I have the opportunity to make a difference and that is something very important to me. I am excited to continue working alongside a family-like team to provide the best level of service for all of our guests.

“Over the next few months I will be focusing on all in-house guests and ensuring the best possible memories are made for them. I enjoy the variety of nationalities passing through Cameron House each day, it’s fascinating to learn about so many different cultures.”

Zoe Jordan and Hazel Stewart make up the new planning team for weddings and special events. Previously the events and PR manager for Buzzworks Holdings, and bar manager for Lochgreen House Hotel, now senior planner, Jordan joins the team with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Stewart joins Cameron House from Queen Mary II Ocean Liner, where she worked as an events manager.

Jordan said: “The resort provides a magical wedding experience that I am proud to be a part of. I’m looking forward to helping lots of couples plan their big day in such beautiful surroundings and making their wedding day more special than they could even have imagined.”

Stewart added: “I’m excited to work in such an iconic Scottish hotel with breath-taking surroundings, and to work with couples on making their special day everything they dreamed of and more.”

The fourth appointment is new activities manager, Calum Steel, who will be responsible for the running of all activities on offer at Cameron House, including; Segway tours, bike hire, guided walks and archery. Calum previously spent 10 years working overseas at a five-star resort, managing both water sports and land-based activities.
